Compensation

This role has a target minimum 1% equity.

Role

We’re growing - and we’re expanding the eng firepower here. We are looking for a Founding Full Stack AI Engineer. Interest in AI, solid CS fundamentals, and full-stack capabilities are a must.

Requirements

1. AI interest (prev experience not required) - you want to go all-in on AI, and it's not your first time making an agentic app or calling LLM APIs. Hackathons and extensive side projects are OKAY 👍.
2. One year of work experience - unfortunately, no new grads.
3. In person - able to work 5 days a week in San Francisco
4. Early stage only - interest to join a startup as one of the first N employees
5. AI-free coding - no vibe coding here! To pass the interview, you’ll be expected to ship with minimal AI use.
6. Solid CS fundamentals - an undergrad degree in CS, and able to ship across the stack:

• Front-end: React/Typescript
• Back-end: Python (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, or Django)
• Database: SQL experience (e.g., Postgres)

1. Intro call - get to know Selix & the SellScale team.
2. Deliverable — Build a full stack agentic app
3. Pair programming - Pair program on the app you built
4. Product & pace — Walk through the non-tech side of SellScale - filled with prototyping, WOZing, prompting, and more.
