Salary: £60k to £70k Basic and benefits

Job Summary

We are delighted and excited to offer the opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative, and rapidly expanding SaaS company who are making great waves in the provision of Billing and provisioning platform for the Telecoms and IT Sectors in the UK and Internationally

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Full Stack Developer with strong backend and database expertise to help modernise and extend our client’s platform. This is a hands-on role where you will work across legacy and modern stacks, with a focus on building clean, efficient logic and maintaining high performance in a data-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across the Node.js and Vue.js stack (with more focus on the backend)
• Optimise queries and schema design across MySQL and Oracle databases.
• Extend and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
• Work across legacy codebases (PHP/Perl) where necessary to modernise or integrate functionality.
• Support internal stakeholders by diagnosing bugs and improving tooling.
• Apply software engineering best practices: version control, testing, documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and systems architecture teams to ensure scalable deployment.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in client-side technologies such as Vue and Nuxt.js, server-side technologies such as Node.js/Express, and databases such as Oracle and MySQL
• Experience in the Telecoms Sector would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git for source control
• Familiarity with Linux environment
• Familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Passionate about software development and eager to learn new technologies.
  
  

Desirable

• Experience in Telecoms, Billing or a similar domain is a plus,
• Experience with PHP or Perl (reading/editing, not necessarily greenfield dev)
• Telecoms, billing, finance, or operational systems experience.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and QA best practices
