Overview

We are looking for a talented and versatile Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular focus on WordPress and React / Next.js. You'll be working on a range of exciting digital projects, from bespoke marketing websites to interactive web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and maintain scalable full stack applications using WordPress, React, and Next.js

·      Build and customise WordPress themes and plugins

·      Create reusable, efficient, and testable code for dynamic web applications

·      Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality user experiences

·      Ensure performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices are implemented

·      Integrate APIs and third-party services

·      Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices

·      Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack

Essential Skills and Experience:

·      Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer

·      Advanced knowledge of WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development

·      Strong proficiency in JavaScript, especially with React and Next.js

·      Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS)

·      Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL

·      Version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

·      Familiarity with build tools and deployment processes (Webpack, Vercel, Netlify, etc.)

Desirable:

·      Experience with WebGL and Three.js for interactive or 3D web experiences

·      Familiarity with headless CMS setups (e.g., WordPress + GraphQL/REST API)

·      Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

·      Experience working in an agency or fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

·      Proven experience in full stack web development, particularly with WordPress and React-based technologies

·      Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, especially React and Next.js

·      Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and SASS

·      Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL

·      Familiarity with server-side technologies and hosting platforms

·      Understanding of web performance optimisation and accessibility standards

·      Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

·      Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

·      Experience with deployment workflows and tools (e.g., Vercel, Netlify, Docker, CI/CD pipelines)

·      Familiarity with headless CMS implementations

·      Strong attention to detail with a user-centric mindset

Skills & Experience:

·      Expertise in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins

·      Solid experience working with React and building server-side rendered apps with Next.js

·      Comfortable working with both relational and non-relational databases

·      Familiarity with WebGL and 3D rendering libraries such as Three.js (desirable)

·      Experience in cross-browser and responsive development best practices

·      Ability to work in Agile or fast-paced environments, with strong collaboration skills

·      Understanding of technical SEO principles

·      Experience using tools such as GitHub, Jira, or Trello

·      Bonus: Experience in animation libraries, canvas-based rendering, or creative coding projects
