Sequel is an IT for Treasury service provider focused on delivering professional services to financial institutions that rely on MX platform for their treasury and capital markets business activity. With offices in Dubai and Beirut, we provide on-site and off-site support and implementation services to clients in Middle East and South Africa.

Sequel is currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing team in Beirut.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a related role.
• Expertise in React, Angular.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for backend development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Background in unit, integration and E2E testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins).
