Strategic Staffing Solutions International client is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm. We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer (Java, React) for a contract till the end of December 2025, with the potential for extension.

📍 Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote from the Warsaw office.

💰 Salary Range:

• B2B: 160-190 PLN net+Vat per hour (depending on your experience)
• FTE (Umowa o pracę): 20 000 - 24 000 PLN gross

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with global Finance teams to drive digital transformation through modern, scalable software solutions.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive automation and system modernization efforts across a large-scale financial systems landscape.
• Solve complex challenges involving data quality, warehousing, analytics, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define workflows and business requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them where relevant to enhance system performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and a strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Solid experience with React.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful web services using frameworks like Spring Boot or Dropwizard.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience working with both relational and columnar SQL databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with global teams.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in financial services or enterprise-scale platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving data-intensive challenges.
• Prior involvement in software modernization or digital transformation projects.
