About the Role

Role Summary

This is a dual-responsibility role requiring full stack development capabilities and leadership over our IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and security protocols. You will also support platform management, website development, and systems integration to keep our operations seamless and tech-enabled.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Full Stack Development

• Develop and maintain web applications and internal tools using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, SQL.
• Build and customize integrations with third-party logistics platforms, ERPs, and internal systems.
• Manage and maintain WordPress-based websites (front-end: CSS, HTML, plugins, themes).
• Implement scalable and secure backend architectures with API integrations.

☁️ Cloud & Hosting (AWS)

• Set up and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Ensure availability, scalability, and backups across all hosted services.
• Lead DevOps efforts including CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation.

🔐 IT Infrastructure & Security

• Oversee network setup, IT hardware, and infrastructure across office and warehouses.
• Define and implement Security & Network SOPs and best practices.
• Manage firewalls, access controls, VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Support local devices, CCTV, barcode/RFID tech, and WiFi networks.

🔌 Systems Integration

• Own and lead data and systems integration across logistics tech stack.
• Work with API documentation and tools to connect WMS, TMS, eCommerce, and finance systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in software development and IT operations.
• Strong programming background: Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, SQL.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and DevOps best practices.
• Deep understanding of networks, IT hardware, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS for basic site management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across both software and hardware.

Nice to Have

• Experience with logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain tech.
• Familiarity with APIs like Shopify, Shiprocket, Unicommerce, Zoho, etc.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices or network certifications (CCNA, AWS certs).
