About the role As part of our team, you'll be working on innovative back-end solutions in an agile way. You'll be working in multi-disciplinary teams with Customer Success Managers, UX experts, back-end and front-end developers. Be ready to talk to client teams as well! You'll not only work on solutions from scratch but also do research, perform bug fixing, create and review pull requests and share your learnings with the team. As a PHP developer you'll be joining our Back-end circle to do research and create POCs around technical topics with colleagues. About you You know how to manage data in relational database technologies (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, …) You can handle complex database schemas and write performant SQL queries Writing and understanding PHP comes natural and experience with Laravel is a plus You understand that security and performance are key You have knowledge of common technologies such as REST, JWT, OAuth, JSON, XML, … Even though you don't solder your own servers, you understand the basics of a webserver and docker technologies While PHP serves as your foundational language, your extensive experience with Javascript/Typescript frameworks like Angular and Vue.js underscores your versatility and depth in the field of web development. Knowledge of queueing systems, caching systems, cloud storage and other various cloud services are a plus You work well in a team and analyse client issues critically to propose effective solutions You proactively identify opportunities to improve legacy code rather than neglecting it You have a good level of Dutch comprehension and speaking since you will be collaborating with a Dutch-speaking client.
