Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leader in the Logistics & Supply Chain industry. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. They are adding a resource to focus on application development and enhancement, working closely with internal stakeholders to create and improve workflows.

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential to extend/convert

Worksite Location: Kansas City, MO | hybrid

Compensation: $50 - $65 per hour depending on experience | W2 only

What you’ll do:

• Analyze, design, develop, document, test, and deploy BI-driven applications and solutions.
• Develop and enhance applications using React, PostgreSQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Azure.
• Work with middle layers, including Kafka, to streamline application processes.
• Perform full-stack development, focusing on both new development and adding functionality to existing applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements
• Maintain and support analytics platforms, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
• Develop and execute database queries, leveraging PostgreSQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Integrate Microsoft Dynamics APIs where applicable to enhance system capabilities.
• Work closely with reporting resources to build key datasets that empower operational and exploratory analysis.
• Conduct basic QA tasks to ensure functionality and data integrity.
• Implement best practices for application development, security, and data integrity.
• Engage with internal analytical teams to develop predictive solutions in collaboration with advanced analytics initiatives.
• Support internal users by developing solutions that enhance their ability to engage with customers.
• Provide technical documentation and maintain project-related plans, process flows, and metrics.
• Communicate project progress and facilitate meetings as needed.

What you'll bring to the role:

Required:

• 2+ years of experience developing business solutions using comprehensive, robust data assets.
• Strong full-stack development skills with React, PostgreSQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Azure.
• Experience working with APIs, including Dynamics integrations.
• Ability to independently write applications and quickly adapt to new development environments.
• Basic experience with middle-layer technologies such as Kafka.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to gather and define business requirements without a dedicated Business Analyst.

Preferred:

• Experience with Power BI and Tableau, with the potential for integration
• Experience working in logistics, supply chain, or sales enablement environments
• Understanding of DBT, Snowflake, and GitHub
• Experience with QA processes and testing methodologies
• Strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
