About the Role

Were on the lookout for a seasoned Full-Stack Developer with cutting-edge AI expertise to join our IT team on a full-time freelance basis. This role is both strategic and hands-on perfect for someone whose not just fluent in code, but also deeply passionate about pushing the boundaries of what AI can do.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and tools (e.g., intelligent dashboards, automation tools, digital assistants)
• Use AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc. to enhance coding workflow
• Lead and mentor junior developers or Vibe Coders (junior devs who primarily code with AI assistance)
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver top-tier solutions
• Stay up-to-date with emerging AI trends, models, and technologies
• Work in a hybrid setting with at least one office day per week (Mondays in Utrecht)

What Were Looking For

• Proven Full-Stack development background you've been coding since before generative AI went mainstream
• Strong AI/ML integration experience you've built tools that are smart, adaptive, and AI-driven
• Hands-on with AI-enhanced coding workflows (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
• Passionate about AI you geek out over new releases and love experimenting with the latest models
• Team leadership skills experience mentoring or managing small dev teams
• Based in the Netherlands and authorized to work (we don't offer sponsorship)
• Comfortable using Hubstaff for time tracking

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments
• Prior work with startups or high-growth tech teams
• Familiarity with LLM integration and vector databases
