The Team

We in the Bloom team are a diverse and inclusive group and thrive on collaboration and creativity. Our multicultural team consists of 6 engineers based in Sweden, the UK, and Australia.

We are responsible for the Neo4j Bloom application, which offers an intuitive and interactive interface for visualizing and analyzing graph data stored in Neo4j databases. We offer Neo4j Bloom as a client app in Neo4j Desktop and as part of the Aura cloud platform. The team is also responsible for developing the Neo4j visualization library. It provides extensive visualization capabilities and is used throughout the Neo4j product suite.

What You'll Bring To This Role

• Have hands-on Javascript/TypeScript experience
• Debugging and optimization (performance and networking) skills
• Experience with build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or Rollup
• Experience in writing testable code with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright)
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have The Following

• Experience with BDD, TDD
• Experience with CI/CD environments (TeamCity, GitHub Actions) and Docker/Kubernetes
• 5+ years experience in frontend development
  
  

Our tech stack includes TypeScript, JavaScript, Canvas, WebGL, React, Redux, Tailwind, Vite, and Yarn, pnpm.

The role also includes the possibility of assisting at conferences or training events internally in Neo4j and to the wider community.
