Post Summary:
The Student Counselling Services (SCS/the Service) is comprised of Counselling, Student Learning Development (SLD) and Student 2 Student (S2S), all supported by a central administrative team. The Service delivers psychological therapy, social transition and academic skills services across the student body using a stepped care model. SCS contributes to the University’s key strategic objectives such as student transition and retention, accessibility, diversity and internationalisation. The delivery of high-quality services for students requires efficient and effective administrative systems.
This is a front-facing, dynamic role with responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of the Service’s front office activities and staff. The front office staff are the first point of contact for service-users who contact us by phone, email or in person at the service. The team also provides first-line admin support for the Director, for full-time, part-time, sessional and volunteer clinical staff and for the SLD and S2S teams.
Post status: Permanent
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€46,410 - €58,086 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
