Job Summary We are looking for a Full Stack PHP Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design to actual code that will produce visual elements of sites and applications. You will work on both sides and define how the application looks as well as how it works. Responsibilities Develop user-facing features Build reusable code and libraries for future use Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Act as a sounding board to the design team and technical advisor for best practice Review and always be up on the latest trends in your field Skills And Qualifications: At Least 4-6 years of professional experience Proficient in Wordpress / Joomla (Custom theme development, custom post types ) Mobile-first design and responsive code is deeply ingrained in your thought process An eye for UI / UX concepts and designs HTML, CSS (Sass), JavaScript, PHP, LAMP stack Design experience a plus Site optimization and performance (SEO and best practice) Portfolio/examples of projects Proficient knowledge and understanding of Javascript and jQuery Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, XD) Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them Understanding of code versioning tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc) Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring the code will adhere to them, site optimization and performance (SEO and best practice)
