Front End Web developer JOB DESCRIPTION Develop front-end components for web-based program and project management applications. Responsible for the design and development of user interfaces interacting with server side modules for Agile Worx applications. Should be capable of taking screen renderings created in Photoshop and translating it to a responsive html user interface. Should be able to modify/improve on such designs as well. Communicate with Product and Project Management to understand and implement requirements. Skilled in PSD to HTML/CSS conversions as well as “in browser” development. Work with teams in an Agile Scrum environment to build software in a rapid, iterative way Respond quickly to changes in requirements Assist with testing software in a live environment Provide detailed & accurate estimates for code development efforts. Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. Perform other duties as assigned or required. REQUIRED SKILLS Strong knowledge and experience with the C# language. Experience building web applications using ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET MVC. Experience with MVC pattern. Experience with XAML, XML, LINQ, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS/HTML. Experience with UI/UX design. Photoshop experience desired. Familiarity with common frameworks used for front end development such as bootstrap, foundation etc. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes. Good communications skills and ability to work in a team environment. Experience developing web services. Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar relational databases. Understanding of W3C standards for web development. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. 5+ Years experience in front end software development. Experience developing project/program management applications or software metrics a big plus. Big Data or analytics experience a plus.
