Front End Software Engineer - 3D and Animation

Primary Location: Ontario, Canada

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Front End Software Engineer for our premier client in Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the design and development of complex web applications
• Ensure the scalability and performance of applications
• Bring energy and commitment to our inclusive and equitable team environment
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment
• Refactoring existing code for maintainability and performance
• Mentor and guide junior developers
  
  

Ideal Skills & Experience

• In-depth knowledge of API and networking patterns, including RESTful services and modern asynchronous communication techniques, to ensure seamless data exchange and integration between front-end applications and back-end services
• Experience determining requirements, and quickly iterating based on user feedback
• You evangelize the importance of communication through code, presentations, slack/teams, and meetings
• 5+ years of experience working with modern JavaScript technologies
• Skilled at building user-facing applications and supporting systems and libraries on web and/or desktop using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, VUE, HTML and CSS
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens
