Summary

I. JOB OBJECTIVE Ensure that all PROCEDURES and POLICIES in Front-End Operations specifically in Member Service and Monetary handling are strictly complied with at all times with the end goal of achieving excellent customer service and shopping experience for club members translating to sales and repeat business. II. KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA) A. Member Service 1. Ensure Preparation of Front-End Check-out Counters and personnel before Store opening 2. ExEcute and perform standard greeting procedures and motivate subordinates to do the same every time 3. Ensures every FE personnel Practices courteousness towards member-customers, visitors, and co-employees 4. Ensure that an adequate number of tills are open and operating at any point in time during store hours 5. Ensure that the Queue in the Check-out Counter is no more than 3 carts 6. Must ensure fast and efficient transactions at the check-out counter to avoid member complaints 7. enforce the 30 seconds per transaction rule 8. Ensure that members are well informed of promotions vis-a-vis suggestive selling by cashier 9. Ensure that all cashiers and baggers are familiar/knowledgeable about store layout and merchandise 10. Ensures everybody "SMILE" at check-out counters at all times 11. Gives feedback to management on customer needs and wants for Warehouse improvement B. Staff / People 1. Conducts the appropriate TRAINING for all CASHIERS and BAGGERS for them to attain the company's high expectations on Customer Service and a Fast and Efficient Check-out Department 2. Ensure that the subordinates follow the specific requirements for personality improvement. a. Proper uniform & grooming b. Punctuality c. Good morale & attitude 3. Implements CASHIER/BAGGER training guidelines for performance improvement 4. Submits updated required plantilla within the Department. 5. Prepares and monitor the daily/weekly/monthly schedule of cashiers and baggers 6. Prepares performance evaluation sheet for Cashiers and Baggers. C. Stock Management 1. Ensure the accuracy of the merchandise transaction by all cashiers at all times 2. Ensure zero occurrence of Untransacted merchandise at the tills 3. Ensure zero occurrence of double-punch merchandise at the tills 4. Ensure zero occurrence of under-punch merchandise at the tills 5. Ensure the open box policy to avoid merchandise switching 6. Ensure that there should be no tag switching/wrong punch to avoid distortion of inventory 7. Acurately monitors the mark-down items/promo items/ volume shopping transactions for inventory purposes 8. conducts testing of appliance items bought by member-customers (small apps) 9. Segregates the unpaid merchandise, RETURNS or left off by the member for turn-over to merchandising 10. Reports unreadable/unscannable barcodes of merchandise to merchandising manager D. Merchandise 1. Ensure that Cashiers and Baggers are in the know of Warehouse Layout (planogram) for Member inquiry by conducting a pep talk/assembly prior to the opening of the warehouse 2. Ensures that all promotional activities especially merchandise related (i.e. B1T1, markdown, etc.) are cascaded to the check-out counter personnel E. Sales 1. Ensure that all cash sales and credit sales are properly documented and turned over to the Vault every after-store hours IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS EDUCATION College Graduate; Business Management Bachelor's degree EXPERIENCE/SKILLS At least 2 years in the same field as a supervisor Experience in a " customer service-oriented company" is a plus factor.
