Wood Resources is a provider of marine towing, ship mooring, dredging, as well as construction and landscaping materials. Position Summary: Equipment operators are responsible for the safe operation of front-end loaders. Must be able to work in Algiers, Harahan, Waggaman, Donaldsonville, and Hahnville. Job Responsibilities: Use front end loader to load materials Complete daily equipment inspections Communicate with customers and employees Follow all company safety rules and regulations while performing duties Job Requirements: Adhere to company attendance policy Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Must have reliable transportation to designated Wood Resources locations Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age 1-3 years of experience Physical Requirements: Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
