Summary

Job Title: Front-End Engineer III (React) PLEASE NOTE: This position is not eligible for current or future sponsorship. Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. CareBridge is a provider of technology and services that assist payers and states in caring for patients receiving long-term support services. CareBridge's services include electronic visit verification (EVV), data aggregation, 24/7-member support, and benefit management. CareBridge is led by a team of healthcare service and technology veterans and is headquartered in East Nashville. The Front-End Engineer III will be responsible for the delivery of end to end system development and maintenance on complex technology systems within the CareBridge EVV Business Unit. How you will make an impact: * Design, build, and maintain scalable React components and UI patterns. * Collaborate with technical leads and other engineers to implement and iterate on user-facing features. * Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and help drive technical standards. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. * Profile and optimize UI performance and load times. * Participate in code reviews and promote frontend best practices. * Development on medium to large complex customer technology platforms or architectures. * Maintains active relationships with internal stakeholders to develop business requirements. * Analyzes and classifies complex change request and identifies and documents possible system code enhancements. * Demonstrates knowledge of industry concepts as well as our products and infrastructure. * Works with development team to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare technical details for the engineering team * Understands the product requirements that take into account stakeholders' needs. * Identifies problems/risks associated with proposed solutions. * Reviews test cases and advises QA on adjacent code/regression impact. * Develops and performs system testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results. * Aids in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts. Minimum Requirements: * Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years experience on one platform, multi database, multi language or multi business application; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: * 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2+ years working in React strongly preferred. * Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. * Experience with modern React patterns. * Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices * Understanding of UI state management (Redux-Saga preferred). * Experience with REST APIs. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment. * Strong communication, collaboration skills and self-management skills.
