In this role, you will work with a small team of software development specialists and be primarily responsible for developing, maintain, enhance and support web-based applications. Experience in designing and developing complex and large-scale business applications. Diverse duties include analysis, design, development, maintenance and support of complex applications. Consume RESTful Web services Write applications that automate workflows and support the efficiency of internal operations Make recommendations for revisions of and extensions for existing solutions, including product customization, new components, and/or optimizations. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Develop and prepare documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches. Ensure builds of projects are delivered on time and with high quality Work with QA to assure project quality and defined measurements of code quality Ability to engage and interact with technical and non-technical staff Work closely in collaboration with the engineering team to facilitate rapid development according to accepted plans and requirements Provide constructive feedback to technical staff during all phases of the software lifecycle to keep development priorities aligned with business needs. Assist with project management needs; ensure that work is understood and completed on time Operate in agile environment, communicate and manage internal and external implementation requirements and expectations Pro-active in pre-empting issues and problems Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Proficiency in JavaScript Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks Vue.js experience is a plus HTML5 Canvas experience is a plus Ability to complete a project from start to finish including planning, coding, and testing. Strong understanding of Microsoft products and related technologies. Experience managing and/or supporting custom applications, their reporting tools and integration points. Experience with source control management (GIT), continuous integration and deployment (TeamCity, Team Foundation Server, etc.), and best practices is preferred Strong experience in working to requirements and priorities as well as resolving issues A problem solver's mentality with the ability to effectively communicate solutions and issues to stakeholders International experience with the ability to work in a diverse work environment across cultures and time-zones
