About Scrawlr Scrawlr is a company building a software platform and series of products dedicated to enabling alternative forms of communication layered on existing internet content, together with delivering superior monetization flexibility and content ownership for content generators. Compensation 85k-115k per annum plus an options grant commensurate with capacity for contribution to the team Responsibilities Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate and implement innovative product functionality. Engage proactively in collaborative planning sessions with cross-functional teams. Actively seek opportunities to expand your own skill set, staying informed about emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in frontend development. Contribute to a continuous learning environment within the team by encouraging knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, and collaborative problem-solving. Support junior developers in their professional growth by offering mentorship, sharing insights, and contributing to an atmosphere that encourages curiosity and skill enhancement. Required Skills & Experience Five (5) years of experience working on commercial / agency medium-size frontend projects or equivalent Two (2) years of experience working on React, or equivalent, framework projects Excellent understanding of web page performance, debugging, and best practices Strong knowledge of core Javascript/HTML/CSS. Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility development and testing concepts Experience with reactive state management concepts Experience with module bundler systems and related web tooling concepts Experience working with REST APIs Experience leading small to midsize multi product teams with demonstrated ability to mentor, grow team members as well as provide technical guidance and oversight on implementation direction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nice to have skills or experience Solid experience with Javascript unit and feature testing concepts and frameworks Single Page Application project experience Chrome/Firefox extension development experience Experience working with TypeScript Experience working in start-up environments Knowledge of BEM methodology in medium to large scale codebases.
