ROLE SCOPE: As a UI/UX Development Engineer, you must be a fast learner of an existing codebase. UI / UX experience is essential. An appreciation of new technologies and how they might benefit our platform is a bonus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Migrating from jQuery/RequireJS to more modern technologies (Vue, AngularJS, React, or similar) Refreshing and improving the design (especially for pages visible to clients) Converting existing templates into reusable components Implementing new components and pages Follow industry best practices Effectively convey all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules along with technical and process issues Document the front-end processes, architecture, and standard components Produce detailed specifications and mockups Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications Interface with internal teams to gather requirements Coordinate and communicate efficiently with other team members Work towards the deadlines in order to meet them Organize the tasks according to the priorities established with the Project Management team Take responsibility for all scheduled development work and ownership of thorough quality control Take responsibility for delivering on targets agreed with Project Manager and notify immediately of delays and changes Meet objectives established by the business QUALIFICATIONS: Fluent English speaker At least 2 years UI/UX experience Awareness of front-end security concerns jQuery + RequireJS LESS / Sass / Bootstrap Debugging - Javascript debuggers One of Vue, AngularJS, React or similar Javascript dependency management and packaging Git and JIRA is a plus but not a strict requirement Basic understanding of PHP and OOP Experience building UIs for web-based business applications PHP templating systems (Smarty) Experience with Mezzo or other middleware-based microframeworks Working in macOS/Linux terminal Track record of contributions on GitHub or similar Debugging – Xdebug Job Type: Full-time Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month Experience: UI/UX: 2 years (Required)
