Front Desk Jr. Associate, Gym Operations - OPGOF2

The Front Desk Team Member is essential in providing top-tier guest experiences. Job Responsibilities
- Delivers outstanding customer experience that helps inspire others to live intentionally and strive for personal bests
- Shows respect for others and makes progress towards the mutual sharing of feedback and concerns
- Ensures the customer service delivered aligns with our culture, mission, and core values
- Demonstrates a growth mindset through a willingness to learn and a sense of curiosity for various tasks
- Greets and checks-in members and guests to create an inclusive space that fosters a sense of belonging.
- Pro-actively educates customers on gym amenities, member benefits, promotions, and guides guests to the best fitting memberships, programs, or pass options. Takes ownership of role in helping the gym meet targets.
- Performs facility upkeep, cleaning tasks, administrative/membership duties, and various project tasks as assigned and/or based on task list for that shift
- Clearly communicates basic knowledge of our retail products and gear, membership and pass options, and programming offerings for climbing, yoga, and fitness
- Delivers belay checks, communicates safety needs to guests, and conducts facility checks
- Manages customer service concerns and scenarios effectively, with professionalism
Job Requirements
- Upbeat and adaptable attitude that fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Solid understanding of customer service skills that enable transformative, purpose-driven moments
- Clear and effective communication to support collaboration with others
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills to creatively find solutions for customer needs
- Comfortable adapting to web-based programs and registers
- Ability to perform gym upkeep tasks
- A minimum of three days availability required weekly
- Regular evening and weekend availability required weekly
Additional Information
- This is a part-time position
- Starting pay at $13.50/hour with regular merit increase opportunities
- Benefits include free membership, in-gym discounts, guest visits, and pro-deal discounts
- New hires will complete a screening process
- Scheduled shift times may vary from week to week or month to month
- Climbing skills can be taught – no climbing experience required!
- Opportunities to advance into other operations and instruction positions within the gym
