Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager

This is a full-time hybrid role that requires the Business Development Manager to work primarily in our client’s Chicago office and be open to some remote work.

Responsibilities

• The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new markets and business opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Generating new leads.
• Preparing proposals.
• Collaborating with other departments within the company.
  
  

Experience

• Strong understanding of global supply-chain management and logistics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in sales, business development, or account management
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating revenue
• Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong book of business
• Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is a requirement
