This is a full-time hybrid role that requires the Business Development Manager to work primarily in our client’s Chicago office and be open to some remote work.

Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new markets and business opportunities.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Generating new leads.
Preparing proposals.
Collaborating with other departments within the company.
Experience
Strong understanding of global supply-chain management and logistics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in sales, business development, or account management
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating revenue
Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Strong book of business
Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is a requirement
