Job Title: Freelance Test Automation Engineer

As an Agile Tester, you will ensure the reliability and user-friendliness of a cloud-based assessment platform. This platform is built on a microservice architecture and hosted entirely in the cloud.

Your Role:

You will play a crucial role, not only in conducting tests but also in coordinating the overall testing process. You will collaborate with a senior tester in your team, another tester in an offshore team, and a third-party supplier responsible for automated regression tests. You will ensure seamless communication between all parties involved, including developers and the release manager. You’ll maintain an overview of the process, making adjustments where necessary, and switching easily between testing and process coordination. Your role will consist of approximately 75% testing and 25% coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test scenarios and scripts, including using tools like Azure Test Plans
• Conduct integration, system, and acceptance testing
• Set up and maintain test automation (e.g., with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or similar)
• Identify, report, and track bugs
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Contribute to quality assurance within a CI/CD environment
