Freelance Databricks & Microsoft Fabric Architect / Engineer

One of my Finnish clients is searching for Finnish speaking freelancers who are specialists in Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks
• Architect modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, OneLake, Data Activator, Synapse)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and enforce best practices for performance, security, and governance within the Azure ecosystem

Required Experience

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Azure Databricks in enterprise environments
• Strong exposure to Microsoft Fabric and its component services (Synapse, Power BI, OneLake, etc.)
• Comfortable working with Lakehouse architectures and modern ELT approaches
• Experience with CI/CD in data engineering workflows (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Bonus: experience in integration with Power Platform

Fluency in Finnish is required, as this is the primary language within the team.
