Summary

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an experienced, mid-level Fractional Operations Manager to help steer the internal ship of FutureFrank®. You’ll work closely with the CEO and department heads to lead and organize our finance, bookkeeping, HR, back office, and sales operations.

This is a part-time role (10-12 hours per week) and ideal for someone based in the Netherlands (preferably Amsterdam), with 2–3 years of experience in operations or business management.

You should be someone who loves building structure, has an eagle eye for detail, and knows how to keep multiple departments aligned and moving towards a common goal. You work independently, take initiative, and thrive on creating clarity and organisation across teams.

You’re also an Excel wizard (or spreadsheet lover!) who enjoys building simple yet powerful systems to track performance.

Having a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or an MBA is a big plus. Most importantly, you’re someone who gets excited about processes, KPIs and OKRs, and running a tight ship — but also appreciates working within a creative, fast-moving company like FutureFrank®.

This position can be fully remote, but ideally, you would come into our Amsterdam office for a 2-hour in-person meeting with the CEO once per week.

It can be set up as either a freelance position or a part-time payroll contract, and can easily be combined with studies, freelance projects, or even a full-time job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll be working closely with our CEO and department heads to:

  • Lead and coordinate finance, bookkeeping, HR, back office, and sales operations.
  • Hold regular meetings with department heads and the CEO to ensure cross-team alignment.
  • Set, track, and report on KPIs and OKRs across departments.
  • Build and maintain operational dashboards and spreadsheets to monitor progress.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and help implement better systems and processes.
  • Keep internal operations running smoothly, efficiently, and in line with company goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–3 years of experience in operations, business management, or a related field.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or an MBA.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong skills with Excel (or similar spreadsheet tools); you love working with data.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You’re fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • You have a strong interest in working in a creative industry (bonus if you love film, art, and culture).
  • Available for 10-15 hours per week. Will depend on how busy things are.

DESIRABLE

  • Based in the Netherlands (preferably Amsterdam).
  • Dutch-speaking.
  • Background in working within the creative industry.
  • Experience working with project management tools

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Hands-on working experience in a dynamic, creative environment.
  • Flexible working hours (remote or hybrid setup possible).
  • Freelance or payroll contract options.
  • Opportunity to grow your operational skills in a multidisciplinary, ambitious company.
  • A team culture that values initiative, structure, and creativity.
  • Salary of €1,000-1200 per month based on 10-12 hours per week. As per industry standards.
  • The starting date is June 1st of 2025 (or until we find the right candidate).
