What we do:

Our core activities include the design, development and support of high-complexity electronics-based systems. These include products for Satellite Simulation & Test (Electrical Ground Support Equipment), TTC & TM/TC Systems, Modems (RF and Optical) as well as Data Processing Systems. 


Who are we looking for: 

We are looking for a FPGA/Firmware Engineer to strengthen our existing team of talented engineers. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of firmware (VHDL) used in our data processing and optical modem products


What will be your challenges:

  • Requirements and architecture analysis, interface definition, (functional) decomposition and mapping the architecture down to component/FPGA level
  • VHDL design, implementation (coding) and simulation
  • Integration and verification of the firmware design on the hardware
  • Regular interaction with other disciplines, such as (embedded) software engineers, hardware design engineers and project management
  • Supporting the test team during the product qualification activities
  • Documenting the design, simulation, verification results and interface control documents


What we ask from you:

  • Electronics engineering degree (B.Sc. or higher)
  • At least 2-year experience in FPGA/Firmware development
  • Hands-on experience in writing VHDL, synthesis, timing verification
  • Hands-on experience with OSVVM is an advantage
  • Experience in high-speed digital circuitry and associated interfaces and processing
  • Good team worker, pro-active and hands-on
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills in multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Experience/knowledge in on-hardware validation using lab test equipment is an advantage
  • Experience/knowledge in modulation, coding and other DSP techniques is an advantage
  • Experience/knowledge in (aero)space business is an advantage
