Summary

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Splunk solutions, including dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  • Analyze complex data sets and build critical business insights using Splunk.
  • Optimize Splunk queries and configurations for performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk-related issues.
  • Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration.
  • Utilize Python libraries and frameworks for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Integrate Python applications with Splunk and other data sources.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and optimize database queries and schemas.
  • Ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Analyze volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop data insights to support critical business decisions.
  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate data findings.
  • Apply SDLC methodologies and DevOps concepts in software development.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Apply basic networking knowledge (infrastructure) to troubleshoot and optimize data flow.
  • Work as an agile team member, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Understand and apply Agile principles and practices.
  • Build scalable, extensible, and reusable software solutions.
  • Design and implement robust and efficient Requirements :
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Splunk solutions development (dashboards, reports, alerts).
  • Hands-on experience analyzing complex data sets and building critical business insights.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodology and DevOps concepts.
  • Knowledge of basic networking (infrastructure).
  • Experience working as an agile team member with a good understanding of Agile principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication Desired (Nice to Have) :
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data and develop data insights to support critical business decisions.
  • Ability to build scalable, extensible, and reusable software :
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Splunk or Python are a plus.
