The client is building an AI-powered toolchain for Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and simulation. Our mission is to revolutionize how engineers design, simulate, and optimize the world’s most complex hardware systems - from rockets to electronics. We are an accomplished founding team who have built multiple successful companies and published dozens of cutting-edge AI papers at the world’s top conferences and journals, and have closed backing by a syndicate of tier-1 backers, including early investors in OpenAI, Anthropic and Databricks.

As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you'll have a pivotal role in shaping our product from the ground up. You'll work directly with the founding team to architect, build, and deploy our AI CAE copilot, making critical technical decisions that will define our trajectory.

• Design and implement the core infrastructure and architecture of our platform
• Build backend systems that integrate with various CAE tools and in-house foundational AI models
• Develop an intuitive, responsive frontend that delivers a seamless user experience
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers to integrate and optimize AI capabilities
• Help establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development workflows
• Participate in product strategy discussions and help define our technical roadmap

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Python for backend development and data processing
• Advanced proficiency with TypeScript and React for frontend development
• Experience building RESTful APIs with FastAPI
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with Supabase
• Proficiency with Redis for caching and performance optimization
• Substantial experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or GCP
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Ability to architect scalable, maintainable systems from scratch
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

• Experience with CAE software or engineering simulation tools
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, particularly in the context of engineering applications
• Experience with WebGL or Three.js for 3D visualization
• History of contributions to open-source projects
• Previous startup experience, especially in founding roles
