A rapidly growing AI infrastructure startup is seeking a Founding Developer Relations Lead to bridge the gap between cutting-edge voice AI technology and the developer community.


With major advancements in AI-powered voice assistants, the company is building the tools that enable developers to bring voice AI into production seamlessly. Recently backed by a top-tier Series A investment, the company is expanding its in-person team in San Francisco to scale its success.


This role will play a crucial part in establishing the company's presence in the developer ecosystem. The Founding Developer Relations Lead will be responsible for crafting engaging technical content, improving documentation, and fostering a thriving developer community. As an early team member, this individual will also help shape company culture and long-term engagement strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Revamp Developer Documentation (First 30 Days)

  • Redesign the information architecture to ensure clarity and ease of use.
  • Gather user feedback to identify pain points and implement necessary improvements.

Build and Manage Developer Community Engagement (First 14 Days)

  • Develop and execute strategies to track and increase developer engagement.
  • Identify and engage key developers and influencers within the industry.
  • Leverage strategic partnerships to expand reach and impact.

Create High-Quality Technical Content (First 30 Days)

  • Develop content strategies across social channels, newsletters, and user spotlights.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on deep technical dives and walkthroughs.
  • Produce sample projects demonstrating common use cases.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience as a software developing that has moved into Developer Relations within a developer-focused startup.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Experience leveraging SEO, Generative SEO, and multimedia content production to drive organic growth.
  • Expertise in using LLMs and automation tools to optimize content creation.
  • Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging technical content across blogs, social media, and video platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, taking initiative and driving projects to completion.
