Position Summary
Transform lives by being responsible for establishing and growing the alumni association and supporting the Foundation's philanthropic presence. This role develops, cultivates, and stewards alumni. Activities include day-to-day administration of the scholarship funds, cultivation events, and annual campaigns.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan to increase support from employees, individuals, community, corporations, retirees, and alumni.
Develop, implement, and manage fundraising strategies and programs to include planned giving, annual campaigns, and major gifts.
Manage a portfolio of alumni to include identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Prepare written proposals, informational materials, and other materials appropriate to secure gifts and grants.
Analyze and report on fundraising progress and outcomes.
Collaborate with Mid-State employees to create opportunities to build and expand positive alumni relationships.
Work with Business Office to assure accurate accounting of donations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field required.
Minimum of two years of work experience in marketing, public relations, or community/fund development required.
Demonstrated successful fundraising experience preferred. Preferably with non-profit, education, or charitable foundations.
Experience in and with alumni relations, college foundations, community relations, and marketing within an educational environment preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications or ability to learn systems required.
Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
