Rainbow Fostering Services is a well-established, child-focused Independent Fostering Agency committed to providing safe, supportive, and nurturing homes for children and young people. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Fostering Team Manager to lead and inspire our dedicated team of supervising social workers.

About the Role:

As our Fostering Team Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring that our foster carers and children receive the highest standards of care and support. You will manage a team of Supervising Social Workers, promote best practice, and ensure all regulatory and safeguarding requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong, reflective supervision and leadership to social work staff
• Oversee and coordinate foster carer supervision, support, and development
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, fostering regulations, and Ofsted standards
• Work closely with other departments to ensure excellent outcomes for children
• Lead on quality assurance, audits, and performance monitoring
• Contribute to strategic service development and foster carer recruitment

About You:

• Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience in fostering or children's services
• Proven ability to manage and supervise staff
• Sound knowledge of fostering regulations, safeguarding, and inspection frameworks
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
