Summary

We are currently seeking Professional Engineers, experienced in evaluating distress to existing buildings, structures and building envelopes who would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of investigative projects including coordinating with clients, performing site visits, managing resources, writing reports, conducting analyses, reviewing building codes, and setting deadlines to ensure project deliverables are submitted in a professional and timely manner.

In This Role, You Will

  • Investigate damage to residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Conduct thorough site visits to collect field data.
  • Analyze collected data, environmental factors, and material properties to determine the cause and extent of distress.
  • Write comprehensive technical reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in developing repair designs and ensuring coordination across disciplines, as needed.
  • Manage project resources and deadlines effectively.
  • Stay up to date on relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
  • PE license required.
  • 4+ years of forensic engineering experience required.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

80,000 - 275,000 USD per year(Remote - United States)
