We have an outstanding opportunity for a part or recently qualified CA or CPA to develop their career in Forensic Accounting with a leading professional services organisation.

This close knit and high performing team is led by highly respected partners and works on exciting and complex forensic matters. This would be a smart career move for a forensic accountant or someone in audit, insolvency or transactions who has an interest in this field.

Working mainly in the Disputes field, the team handles a wide range of complex and interesting forensic cases. Here are some of the things you would be involved with:

• Providing advisory on financial forensic analysis covering disputes, insurance and litigation.
• Analysing and providing advice on commercial contract disputes such as breach of agreements
• Calculating business valuations for both commercial and personal legal matters
• Dealing with complex insurance claims and quantifying damages or loss
• Assist with research and preparation of Expert witness reports to be used in court proceedings
• Developing stakeholder relationships and assisting with business development activities

To be considered:

• Accountants who already work in Forensics who want to develop their skills further
• Applications will also be considered from candidates with good valuations and financial modelling experience gained in restructuring or transactions
• CA or part CA qualified
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial statements
• Ability to think independently and apply critical thinking to complex matters
• Strong excel skills and ability - financial modelling skills would be well regarded.
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Relevant degree such as accounting, commerce or finance
