Hours of Work : 40 Days Of Week : Monday - Friday Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: The Manager of Food Services professional is responsible for the operation of kitchen personnel while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Prepares meals in accordance with recipes and company quality standards. Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of Methodist Health System Your Job Requirements: • Culinary Arts School Graduate • Serv-Safe Certified and/or Certified Dietary Manager • 5 years' experience of Food Service experience. • 5 years' experience of Institutional Cooking experience. • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products • Superior oral and written communication skills • Ability to use business math concepts. • Ability to plan and schedule the work of others • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment Your Job Responsibilities: • Communicate clearly and openly • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment • Be accountable for your performance • Always look for ways to improve the patient experience • Take initiative for your professional growth • Be engaged and eager to build a winning team • Collaborates with the Production Manager to effect problem resolution to meet established patient satisfaction benchmark. • Ensures food waste is kept to a minimum • Assists in development and preparation of new menus and recipes for Retail, Catering and Patient Trayline • Establishes and maintains sanitation, maintenance and safety guidelines of equipment, refrigeration and work areas. • Ensures kitchen personnel follow HACCP guidelines • Orders food and supplies based on planned menus and recipes. Maintains inventory within established levels • Prepares all foods and oversees the preparation of food by kitchen personnel Methodist Southlake Medical Center is a 54-bed, acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas.
