Sr. Advanced Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement high-performance, reliable, and user-friendly software solutions for avionics display systems and applications.
• Implement advanced functionalities such as ATS/ATC/AOC uplink and downlink, Datalink communications, and 4 dimensional (4D) flight planning.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement core software modules.
• Contribute to software architecture, coding, integration, feature development, and testing.
• Ensure software solutions meet quality standards and project goals through technical innovation and excellence.
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded development in avionics or related industries.
• Familiarity with display systems, flight management, flight planning, flight controls, TCAS, CAS, terrain, radio systems, and Datalink.
• Experience with ATS/ATC/AOC messaging systems and implementing uplink/downlink communication.
• Experience with 4D trajectory based flight planning and integration.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and tools.
• Programming experience in Python, OpenGL, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of software configuration and change management practices.
