About the Role - The Fleet Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fleet operations, including operational qualification applications, vehicle dispatch, driver management, vehicle traffic safety management, and general company operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. The ideal candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of airport pick-up and drop-off service systems.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Management:
• Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and utilization of the fleet to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles.
• Manage vehicle insurance, registration, and compliance with local regulations.
• Driver Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers to ensure high standards of professionalism and safety.
• Monitor driver performance and adherence to company policies and service quality standards.
• Resolve any driver-related issues and manage schedules effectively.
• Operational Qualification Applications:
• Handle the application and renewal of permits, licenses, and operational qualifications required by regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all operational processes comply with government and industry regulations.
• Vehicle Dispatch & Scheduling:
• Develop and oversee effective dispatch systems to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Monitor real-time fleet operations to address delays or disruptions promptly.
• Vehicle Traffic Safety Management:
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to manage vehicle traffic at the airport, ensuring compliance with airport regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor traffic flow and optimize pick-up/drop-off zones to reduce congestion and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with airport authorities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth vehicle access and safe operations.
• Airport Pick-Up & Drop-Off Service System:
• Oversee and optimize the airport pick-up and drop-off processes, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
• Ensure effective communication with airport personnel and security teams for smooth vehicle access and clearance.
• Stay updated on any changes in airport traffic rules, regulations, or processes and adjust operations accordingly.
• Company Management & Strategy:
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain budgets, track expenses, and optimize cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments to align operations with overall business objectives.
• Customer Service:
• Address customer feedback and ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Analyze service performance metrics and implement improvements.

Qualifications - Proven experience in fleet operations management or a similar role, preferably in the transportation industry.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of airport pick-up and drop-off services, including familiarity with airport traffic flow and regulations.
• Extensive experience in vehicle dispatch, driver management, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, transportation, or a related field (preferred).
