Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Selenium Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic QA team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, a strong understanding of software testing principles, and the ability to develop robust test scripts using Java and Selenium.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and maintainability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test requirements and strategies.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing using automation.
• Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps to integrate automated tests into the build pipeline.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Perform API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage test scripts and collaborate with the development team.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform test execution for web applications.
• Optimize and enhance test automation scripts for maximum efficiency and reusability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices in automation testing.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPS concepts, and collections.
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, or BDD frameworks like Cucumber).
• Proficiency in writing test scripts using TestNG/JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with Maven/Gradle for project build and dependency management.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) for validating test data.
• Experience with API automation using RestAssured or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based test execution platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Rally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Exposure to mobile automation testing using Appium.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
