First Line Manager Production PU (m/f/x)
Your Tasks
Disciplinary and technical management of a sub-area of PU production at the site with approx. 100 employees, in particular management of the shift supervisors and team leaders
Ensuring the performance of the production area for which you are responsible, taking into account the specified quantity and quality specifications
Monitoring, optimization and further development of the existing key performance indicator system and defined standards
Developing, monitoring and improving processes, particularly across shifts, taking into account effectiveness, productivity, costs and on-time delivery capability in collaboration with other support functions
Initiation, planning and management of lean projects
Coordination and implementation of best practice approaches/lessons learned in the production process
Determination and monitoring of personnel budget (needs-based personnel deployment) incl. target/actual comparison and control of effective personnel deployment within the production area
Recruitment (onboarding) in collaboration with HR and leasing companies
Determination and implementation of needs-based strategic development/qualification of shift managers and subordinate production personnel
Standardization and further development of store floor management on the production lines
Planning, monitoring and evaluating product concepts and material tests
Monitoring, controlling and correcting material stocks in the production area
Maintaining, checking and developing area-specific master data in the ERP system and the bonus system
Mutual representation of the FLMs & representation of the Head of Production
Your Profile
Completed technical studies in production and manufacturing technology or industrial engineering or
Technical training with further training as a technician, master craftsman or technical business administrator or comparable qualifications
Several years of professional and management experience, ideally in a production company;
Experience in the footwear industry – production of PU footwear is an advantage and desirable
Experienced user knowledge of MS Office and SAP (preferably SAP WM / MM)
Strong understanding of figures, sound knowledge of process and project management as well as entrepreneurial and cross-divisional thinking and acting
Application-proven, resilient knowledge of common lean methods
strong quality awareness, goal-oriented and independent thinking and acting
Experience in building and establishing stable, resilient teams and maintaining a positive and motivating work environment
