Welcome to our Maxon Shooter’s Supplies & Indoor Range job posting, we are currently looking to hire more great people for our instructor team right now! We have been a pillar of the firearms community around Chicago since 1953 and we consider it our mission to grow, broaden, and expand OUR community. We want to be THE place to experience the world of shooting sports, and we want your help to make it the best experience possible for every customer! Being the firearms training program coordinator is not just about teaching people how to shoot, although that is one of the primary roles. A big part of instructing is also about encouraging customers to come back! Providing safety focused, patient, and encouraging lessons help create a positive atmosphere for learning and hopefully creates a repeat customer too. As the firearms training program coordinator you will manage the cadre of firearms instructors on staff and the formal classes that Maxon offers. The main reason people come to us is to use our indoor shooting range, so a big part of instruction is helping students find the right firearms and accessories that will work best for them.
