For our client in Brussels – an international group active in Belgium, Europe, and the US with a turnover of approximately EUR 5 billion – we are looking for a strategic professional who will report directly to top management (ExCo & Board).

Responsibilities

• Group-level role with strong reporting lines to senior stakeholders
• Responsibility for the entire budgeting and planning process
• Preparation and follow-up of KPI and financial reporting
• Data collection, processing, and analysis
• Monitoring deviations and explaining variances
• No active business partnering or challenger role, but requires critical insight
• Active contribution to process optimization within controlling

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Economics / Business Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years in controlling or financial reporting
• Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting logic, as well as consolidation
• Quick grasp of complex group structures and dynamics
• English (must), Dutch and/or French
• Analytical, flexible, comfortable with change, and critically minded

Tools & Systems

• Excel: Very strong proficiency required
• Planning Tool: EPM Oracle (experience is a plus, not a must)
• Accounting Tool: Oracle Fusion or equivalent knowledge
