About the Role:
The Financial Systems and Analytics Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our financial systems and providing actionable insights through data analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and concise reports.
What You'll Do:
* Financial Systems Maintenance:
* Administer and maintain the company's financial systems, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
* Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions to optimize system performance.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
* Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
* Process Improvement:
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
* Automate manual processes to streamline workflows and reduce errors.
* Compliance and Control:
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards.
* Assist with internal and external audits, providing data and documentation as required.
Who You Are:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and systems administration.
* Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Workday Adaptive Planning, BI tools).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
