Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Analyst to provide expert financial management support for Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The ideal candidate will possess advanced certifications in cost estimating and earned value management, along with a strong background in ERP systems and defense budgeting. This position requires the ability to work independently on complex tasks and provide leadership and guidance to junior and mid-level staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and perform complex business and financial tasks associated with DoD program budgets.
  • Develop and maintain budget exhibits and ensure alignment with DoD financial processes and requirements.
  • Utilize ERP systems for program execution and tracking.
  • Provide training and mentorship to other contractor BFMs to ensure consistent and competent performance.
  • Supervise and oversee junior and mid-level contractor BFMs to ensure satisfactory task completion and program support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience related to business financial management.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) Certification or equivalent.
  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Cost Estimating Credential or Financial Management Practitioner Certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Proven experience in building DoD program budgets and developing budget exhibits.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and supervise other BFMs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
  • Experience supporting high-level acquisition or engineering programs.
