A highly regarded and discreet Family Office is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager. This role offers direct visibility to executive leadership and is focused on automation, reporting transformation, and delivering strategic financial insights. This is a hybrid opportunity located in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
• Create executive summaries and detailed variance analyses, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner closely with the Director of Finance and CFO to provide financial recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business goals and drive financial performance.
• Oversee cash flow reports and lead the transition from manual processes to automated solutions.
• Manage the evolution of reporting responsibilities as automation tools are implemented, shifting the team’s focus from data preparation to insights and strategy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal financial reporting inquiries, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that emphasizes continuous improvement, learning, and professional growth.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, modeling, or related areas.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI or similar data visualization tools, including experience developing financial models.
• Familiarity with Business Central (BC) and related reporting systems is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, streamline, and enhance cash flow reporting and financial analysis processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience in a private investment or family office environment is preferred.

Salary Range: $175K-$200K
