Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making within the healthcare industry. This position requires a high level of independence and expertise in financial systems and reporting practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Review monthly statements to verify appropriate recording of transactions and identify discrepancies.
  • Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all tasks are completed timely and accurately.
  • Oversee the review and distribution of cash, ensuring proper allocation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with various departments to determine and implement correct accounting procedures.
  • Work closely with the corporate accounting team to finalize financial statements.
  • Utilize Oracle R12 or similar enterprise systems to streamline financial reporting tasks.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize reporting efficiency.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting and statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Oracle R12, BlackLine, and ERP platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including accounts payable and auditing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in balance sheet account management and budget processes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results.
  • Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and tools used in healthcare settings.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams.
