FP&A Manager:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and long-range financial plans.
  • Create and maintain financial models to forecast future performance.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards financial goals.

Business Partnering and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other departments to understand business needs and develop financial plans.
  • Communicate financial results and insights to stakeholders, including senior management and the board of directors.
  • Provide financial support and analysis for strategic initiatives and decisions.
  • Process Improvement and Automation:
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to derive actionable insights from financial data.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in development of budgets and forecasts, management reporting, and variance analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement financial models with simulation capabilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting,; a Master's degree (MBA) is preferred
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial and accounting systems in Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint and other planning software
  • Excel Mastery: Proficient in intermediate to advanced Excel functions, including linked workbooks, multi-worksheet models, lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of financial statements, accounting principles, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Problem-solving & Adaptability: Proven ability to navigate competing priorities, manage shifting deadlines, and execute tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to work independently while effectively leading teams and contributing in collaborative settings.
  • Experience in FP and A in Architectural, Design, Construction or Engineering
