Summary

My client, a leading Pharma MNC, is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join their finance team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This role is critical in providing financial insight and partnering with operational teams to support key business initiatives and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor internal financial controls, ensuring compliance (incl. SOX).
  • Lead the preparation of R&D Tax Credits submissions and Government Grant claims.
  • Support site management with operational and strategic initiatives, including costing of new products and projects.
  • Partner with key departments on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Drive productivity initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate on capital investment planning and strategic projects.
  • Manage monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, and dashboard oversight.
  • Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement through the deployment of Six Sigma tools.
  • Contribute to cross-site finance process and system improvement projects, manufacturing productivity initiatives, and staff training and development.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries.
  • Strong business partnering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with grants, tax incentives, inventory accounting.
  • Proficiency in SAP, BPC, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience supporting capital expenditure and start-up projects is an advantage.
