Job Description

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina for Summer 2025.

Financial Planning & Analysis Intern Overview

Support the finance team with data analysis, report preparation, and assisting with the forecasting process.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
• Report Preparation: Prepare financial reports, presentations, and other documents.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, potentially by assisting with data entry, model creation, or analysis. Analyze variances between actual, plan and prior year.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models for specific costs such as fuel, utilities, and wages to understand and analyze the cost drivers and provide insights for forecasting.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments and teams to gather information and support business decisions.
• Learning and Development: Gain experience in FP&A processes, tools, and techniques.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or studying toward a degree in Finance or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Lookups, Power Query, Pivot Tables)
• An understanding of basic accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Detail-oriented.
  
  

Compensation

$15-$20 an hour
