Job Title: Sr. Manager - Finance Controller (Location: Delhi, India )
Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Manger - Finance Controller to lead the financial operations of our client which is specializing in food and non-food product distribution, importing, and exporting. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, ensuring compliance with Indian and international financial standards, and leading a high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s long-term growth and profitability.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO
2. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, and periodic forecasts.
- Track and analyze budget variances and advise corrective actions.
3. Financial Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Maintain compliance with IFRS, Indian GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Oversee cash flow management, funding requirements, and banking relationships.
- Manage capital structure, working capital, and financial risks.
5. Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Establish strong internal control systems and risk mitigation frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and statutory obligations.
6. Audit and Compliance
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory returns.
7. Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the finance team to drive performance and growth.
- Build a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence.
8. ERP & Financial Systems
- Drive ERP implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization.
- Leverage technology to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Commerce
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or MBA in Finance value Added.
- 12–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in trading sectors or manufacturing.
- Expertise in Indian taxation, compliance, and corporate laws.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and global finance practices.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
