Our client, a privately held $60M automotive supplier, is looking for an energetic, curious, and hands-on Controller to lead its 3-person accounting team. With 25+ core employees and a flexible temp workforce depending on demand, this company operates in a fast-paced environment where financial insight truly drives the business.

This role goes beyond just producing financials. We’re looking for someone who thrives on digging into the data, uncovering trends, identifying abnormalities, and helping guide decision-making from a numbers-first perspective.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AR, AP, and month-end close
• Analyze financial data and highlight key insights for leadership
• Act as the senior financial executive, reporting directly to ownership and collaborating closely with senior leadership
• Own journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting with accuracy and efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting functions

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid industry accounting experience
• Analytical mindset with a genuine curiosity about financial results
• Proactive and energetic with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a small, close-knit team
• CPA not required — but a deep understanding of GAAP and financial best practices is expected
• Leadership qualities and the desire to contribute at a strategic level
