Responsibilities:

• Manage a large team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and clear guidance to ensure the team's success.

• Oversee all accounting functions.

• Implement cost accounting and inventory management practices to maintain accurate financial records.

• Serve as a reliable partner to senior leadership, providing insights and support for strategic decision-making.

• Responsible for fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations, GL accounting, month end closing

• Utilize accounting software systems and automate to make more efficient.

• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support organizational planning and performance evaluation.

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department.


Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing and leading accounting teams, with a track record of success.

• Expertise in cost accounting and inventory management is essential.

• Proficiency in accounting ERP systems

• CPA is preferred

• Must be out of CPG, Manufacturing, Wholesale or Retail

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.

• 10+ years experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
